Danielle Hradsky

PhD student (Secondary education)

Australia

I'm a PhD student at Monash University, Australia, working under the supervision of Associate Professor Zane Ma Rhea and Dr Rachel Forgasz. My project (still in the initial phases) will be investigating the potential of embodied pedagogies to develop secondary teachers' confidence, knowledge, abilities and interest in teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures. I'm particularly interested in the concept of discomfort and how it can be approached, and the power of school leaders to effect change.
