Resonance Energy Transfer manifests in photosynthesis is an extremely efficient energy transferring process, which has attracted many applications such as artificial light harvesting and sensing bio-proteins and measuring nano meter distances accurately. However, the aspects of this transfer when it occurs in the coherent regime are yet to be fully identified. This thesis studies the coherent resonance energy transfer dynamics in various bath coupling regimes in various perturbed quantum environments. Results of the study delineate the effects of these perturbations to overall energy transfer dynamics which could increase and decrease the observed quantum coherence of a quantum system.
