This research focuses on user authentication, especially the privacy-preserving biometrics authentication using lattice-based cryptography. Most of known techniques are either relying on a trusted third party or assuming semi-honest security model. In this thesis, we propose a series of 2-party protocols with strong security guarantees against malicious client model and reasonable computation time and communication size, suitable for any Hamming Distance-based biometric authentication system.
