Ode to Dissipationless Electronics: Computational Design of Topological Materials

The development of modern electronics is limited by heat dissipation. Topological materials are new materials that conduct electrons without dissipating any heat. This thesis uses computational modeling techniques to design the topological materials and provides guidelines for later experimental realisation.
