Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is a significant clinical burden and is an issue for nearly all drug classes. The impact of DILI-associated drugs on the biochemistry of liver cells was characterised using advanced mass spectrometry approaches. This research revealed mechanisms and biomolecular changes associated with exposure to these drugs and offers new avenues to achieve a greater level of drug safety.
