This thesis is about the works of applying an excitation signal to a photocurrent device, and make use of best linear approximation (BLA) technique to measure the frequency response function (FRF) of the measurement circuit. The standard deviation of FRFs is then used as an indirect way to measure the photocurrent with respect to light intensity. This indirect method exploits and quantifies the nonlinearity arising form the photocurrent generation and measurement circuit. The method can be applied any other types of sensor, not limiting to photocurrent device alone.
