New Fe-B based nanoscrystalline soft magnetic alloys were developed at Monash University in 2017. In this PhD thesis the effect of Ni and Co additions on the structural and magnetic properties have been investigated for the Fe-B alloys. It is found that high saturation magnetization of 1.7 to 2 tesla and low coercivity of 3 to 9 A/m can be realized in the (Fe,Co. Ni)-B based alloys.
