Why the Brain Matters: Regulating Concussion in Australian Sport

This thesis critically evaluates the regulation of Australian sport with a specific focus on the issue of sport-related concussion. The central finding is that regulating to manage and minimise the harm associated with sport-related concussion in Australia lies in the hands of both state and non-state actors taking collective action within a polycentric regulatory system.
