Treatment options for men with advanced prostate cancer have rapidly improved in the last decade. Despite this, choosing the best treatment for individual patients remains incredibly challenging. This thesis examines whether RNA abnormalities detected in the blood can accurately predict whether patients will benefit from certain therapies. This information could be used to better guide treatment of advanced prostate cancer.
