Voluntary Exercise Potentiates Myelin Repair by Oligodendrogenic Neural Precursor Cells and Oligodendrocyte Progenitor Cells

The myelination of axons is a pivotal component of the nervous system therefore it is detrimental when there is a breakdown of myelin in demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis. This thesis provides compelling evidence in support of utilising a non-invasive method such as voluntary exercise to potentiate myelin repair following a demyelinating injury.
