thesis
posted on 2025-02-10, 00:52 authored by Kang Hao Koay
Process safety education is complicated and poses a unique challenge for educators using traditional teaching methods. This thesis develops a virtual amine scrubbing plant inside Virtual Reality (VR) environment which allow simulation of scenarios leading to process safety incidents. Students learn through experience, enhance process safety awareness which is transferable to future workplace and help to reduce catastrophic chemical incidents, safeguarding the community and environment.
