This thesis explores the delivery of nutrition care for people living with overweight and obesity in the acute hospital setting using a design thinking process. It identifies that dietitians limit the delivery of obesity related care. The acute care environment can provide opportunities for engagement in the support and transition of care of people living with obesity that considers patients’ needs over setting.
