This thesis examines the use of technology to support self-management strategies to help adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to increase their physical activity. The results from the thesis demonstrate that the use of self-management strategies can support an adult with ASD to increase their engagement in physical activity. In particular, the use of a fitness tracker in self-management intervention holds the potential to empower an adult with ASD to meet physical activity guidelines and to be more active.
