This thesis examines the biomechanical behavior of oil palm fresh fruit bunch harvesters, focusing on the upper extremities using computational modelling and simulations. The outcome of this research provides valuable insights to engineers and designers of the exoskeleton for which muscles to assist during oil palm harvesting. It also serves as a solid foundation in agriculture, such as investigating possible strategies to improve the ergonomics of harvesting.
