Food waste is a major global sustainability challenge with an interwoven range of social, environmental, and economic implications. This PhD develops and explores a multi-level framework of household food waste and consumer behaviour and considers it implications for practice and future research. The framework provides a holistic conceptualisation of food waste and behaviour and supports the development of multi-level interventions to effectively engage consumers and tackle the food waste challenge.
