This thesis involves the development of an unmanned surface vehicle for water quality monitoring and sample extraction tasks. The vehicle platform integrates sensor probes and a custom autosampler to assist in evaluating water quality as outlined in local water quality standards. Autonomous navigational capabilites are adapted into the system to enable water traversal with minimal human intervention. This research introduces an alternative solution to the existing water monitoring infrastructure in the country.
