Unified Information Hiding in High Dynamic Range Image in JPEG XT format

High dynamic range (HDR) allows a scene to be reproduced where details in the extreme bright and dark regions are maintained. As more smart devices can capture HDR image, more HDR images are expected to be in use. These images need to be managed and protected from malicious utilisation, and one of the solutions is information hiding. This project focuses on JPEG XT file format, which supports HDR. The structure of JPEG XT is first analysed, then a format-compliant perceptual encryption method, a rewritable data embedding method, and a rewritable unified information hiding for JPEG XT are proposed.
