Understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms by which prenatal exposure to maternal immune activation leads to behavioural dysfunction

This thesis investigates the mechanisms of maternal immune activation during pregnancy, a risk factor for psychiatric disorders in the offspring. Key neuronal populations and neurodevelopmental genes were found to be disrupted.
