This thesis examines the perspectives of key stakeholders, including teaching staff and senior managers in higher education institutions, towards learning analytics (LA) and the factors that impact their adoption and use, including, challenges (and success enablers) of LA and their associated factors, trust in LA with focusing on trust in LA tools and trust in LA stakeholders, and stakeholders needs of LA from diverse cultural backgrounds.
