Ultrafast water permeation property of carbon nanostructured functionalised surfaces

thesis
posted on 2023-10-03, 20:48 authored by KAI YEN YONG
This thesis explores how carbon nanostructured coatings improve cooling technology. The research determines the ideal materials, optimum thickness, and heating conditions for the coatings. It shows these coatings especially when made from graphene nanoplatelets significantly enhance heat transfer in LED cooling systems and suppress extreme thermal effects namely Leidenfrost. This work harbours the potential to greatly improve heat transfer efficiency in various technological applications.
