Ultrasound is a type of medical imaging that can be utilised to visualise the bones and other tissue layers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a computer science method which can be used to analyse data. The human body consists of joints which move with a particular motion pattern. This thesis explores the utilisation of ultrasound and AI to generate a plot of the motion pattern of joints in the human body. This plot has been named the Rajesh- David (RD) plot. A series of medical devices and robots were developed to capture precise data to derive this plot.
