Translation of Australian research into practice in severe traumatic brain injury

In many areas of medicine doctors do not use the best available research findings to guide their practice. This thesis examines the management of severe head injury and finds that key Australian research has been implemented, assisted by academic hospital cultures and collaboration between doctors of different specialties.
