Transition metal catalysed strategies for building molecular complexity

Transition metal complexes are imperative in facilitating chemical reactions both at an academic and industrial level through their use as catalysts. This thesis will look at three transition metals - rhodium, copper, and gold - and their distinct reactivities in mediating a number of important chemical transformations.
