Mental health difficulties are common among individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury. In recent years, transdiagnostic approaches, which move beyond the boundaries of traditional psychiatric diagnoses, have emerged to better understand mental health difficulties in the general population. However, the application of these approaches to individuals with traumatic brain injury has remained uncertain. This thesis applied transdiagnostic approaches to gain new insights into the mental health difficulties faced by individuals with traumatic brain injury.
