Trans Men in Malaysia: Examining the psychological and decision-making processes in becoming men

The study explores how trans men make decisions about their masculine identities in their processes of becoming men. It examines the roles played by institutions such as family and school in constructing ideas of gender. It also examines the roles played by gender relations with other men and women in constructing and challenging ideas of gender. Finally, it explores the role of agency in determining trans men's journey's in becoming men.
