A new methodology to quantify minerals criticality is developed—the criticality systems of minerals. This methodology uses game theory modellings and statistical learning methods to determine which minerals are more critical, i.e the combination of a higher supply risk and a higher impact if the supply is restricted, to an national-level mineral end users.
