Three Essays on Health and Labour Economics

This thesis consists of three independent chapters on children health and gender wage gap. The first chapter examines the effect of season of birth on height and cognitive and non-cognitive skills on Chinese children. The second chapter examines the effect of time spent on physical activity and using electronic media on weight status of Australian children and adolescents. In the final chapter, we investigate the gender wage gap in Vietnam.
