The microbiota of sea turtles

This thesis contains a review chapter outlining the microbiota of vertebrates and how this is influenced by phylogenetic history. The remaining chapters are focused on the microbiota of sea turtles and how it is affected by factors such as phylogeny and geography with implications for sea turtle health and physiology.
