The exploration of small RNA regulation in Pasteurella multocida

This thesis examined the bacterial pathogen Pasteurella multocida, which causes severe disease in agricultural animals. In order to cause disease the bacteria must regulate the production of many proteins. One mechanism that P. multocida uses to do this is small RNA regulation. The small RNA GcvB, and the small RNA chaperone protein ProQ were studied in detail and their regulatory effects were determined.
