The development of quantitative moisture monitoring methods for intelligent soil compaction using ground penetrating radar

thesis
posted on 2023-10-23, 02:55 authored by KAUSHAL KABIT KISHORE
This thesis provides advances in GPR-based moisture estimation during pavement construction through the use of numerical simulations, laboratory-based experiments and field studies. By leveraging innovative methods, this research aims to enhance the capabilities of intelligent compaction by providing reliable and near real-time moisture measurement. This study's findings can potentially improve compaction processes and overall quality control in road construction projects, leading to more efficient and resilient road infrastructure.
