These locations can trigger the creation of blood clots, further narrowing the vessel and preventing blood flow to the heart or brain. This study designs experiments to explore how the stenosis size and number can alter the growth of blood clots. Results from this study shows the blood clot growth is greatly altered by the size of stenosis and is dependent on the patient blood properties.
