posted on 2020-12-05, 04:12 authored by TERENCE RAAJ AVADIAR
Improvements to the aerodynamic efficiency of road vehicles provides environmental and economic benefits. This thesis examines the wake of a generic, realistic estate vehicle and seeks to identify the main sources of aerodynamic drag, and its time-varying properties. The results of this work will aid future vehicle design efforts that have been utilised research on simplified bodies.
