This doctoral project — a post-COVID campus novel The Slackademics and exegesis -- dissects the neoliberal landscape of satirical twenty-first-century, female-authored campus novels and scrutinises whether they accurately represent the realities of women in academe. Both components demonstrate how satire is used by female authors to narrate stories about women in higher education.
