The Public Cast: making space for public authorship and activation in participatory artworks.

An inquiry into ways that large and small scale participatory artworks can more effectively empower the public as both citizens and collaborating artists. The research is based around a number of case-studies from the author's own practice as a theatre director in the field of participatory spectacle.
