Correct establishment of brain architecture during development is a complex process that requires precise control of cell specification, migration, and axo-dendritic guidance. These events are regulated by multiple transcription factors, guidance systems, and environmental cues. In this work, I identified a molecular network through which the NFY complex directly regulates both neuron-type specific and pan-neuronal gene signatures.
