The Making, (Un)making and (Re)making of Malaysian-Chinese-Australian

thesis
posted on 2022-05-20, 04:16 authored by CORINA STEPHANIE TOON
This thesis is about a collective of Malaysian-Chinese students and how they make, (un)make and (re)make their subjectivities across geo-political and social-political institutional spaces. It explores their experiences and stories of being Malaysian-Chinese-Australian students and how they navigated and mediated their experiences as a collective. The significance of this thesis is to better equip educators to understand the complexities of how second-generation immigrant students learn and thus best cater to their unique learning styles.
