The late Pleistocene - Holocene mammal fauna from
lunette deposits on the east side of Lake Victoria, New
South Wales, Australia is described. The fossil assemblage
is here named the Lake Victoria Local Fauna.
The lunette is of aeolian origin and the presence
of several well developed paleosols in the lunette indicates
that lunette formation occurred over a substantial period
of time, p,ossibly 40,000 yrs.
