The Identification of Clinically Relevant Biomarkers by Massively Parallel Sequencing

Many clinically important diseases still cannot be either identified or understood at a molecular level. This thesis explores the usage and analysis of high throughput sequencing data to measure disease related epigenetic changes in a diverse range of animal models as well as in the clinic.
