The Hong Kong Chinese Creativity Model
thesis
posted on 2018-08-01, 05:20 authored by SIN YEE TAMSince 2000, educational reforms in Hong Kong have included the development of students’ creativity as an integral aspect of all key-learning areas but there continues to be widespread criticism amongst commentators of students’ creativity. Past research attempts to base on Western creativity concept have also yielded conflicting results. Therefore, current research used the Creative Invention Test that reflect the Hong Kong Chinese perception of creativity to measure students’ creativity. A Hong Kong Chinese Creativity Model was built to show how creativity is related to the cultural and cognitive factors, thus helps to find ways to improve creativity education.
