thesis
posted on 2023-06-28, 06:54 authored by CHRISTINE SZE LING ONG
This thesis examines the effect of Clostridioides difficile (Clostridioides difficile should be italicized), an important bacterium that causes gastrointestinal disease, on the gastrointestinal tract. It examines how disease affects digestive functions and how, in turn, gastrointestinal complications contribute to disease symptoms. Knowledge on how disease progresses may help in generating new treatments.
