This thesis examines the expression of the pnx-20 and gpr173 both before and after exposing O. niloticus to chronic social stress. Following that, it also constructs protein profiling in chronic social stress induced animals and followed by the phoenixin-20 peptide treatment. In chronic social stress exposed animals, both gene expression of pnx-20 and gpr173 decreased significantly in Area A while only pnx-20 in Area B. While the protein-protein interaction (PPI) analysis yielded three clusters: carbohydrate metabolism and RNA degradation (cluster 1), amino acid metabolism and biosynthesis (cluster 2), and TCA cycle (cluster 3).
