Techno-economic feasibility assessment of using solar energy for Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Sunway transport system

Electric buses/vehicles are usually clean on the road. However, their charging requires
electricity which comes from fossil fuels power plants (run on coal and natural gas).
Ultimately, they indirectly impact the environment and create a load on the grid. We need to
look for alternative sources of energy such as solar to make them sustainable.
Therefore, our solution was to implement the solar PV plant on the rooftop of the bus depot.
This will not only reduce the electricity demand, but also the operation cost and carbon
emissions. However, before this, we need to perform a techno-economic feasibility study.
