Misai kucing (Orthosiphon stamineus) is a plant native to Southeast Asia. The leaves of this plant have been used extensively as tea as they are believed to have medicinal properties. The aim of this study was to find a way to improve these medicinal properties by subjecting the plants to varying percentages of blue, red, far-red, and green LED lights. This study revealed that a combination of 50% red, 25% blue, 15% green, and 10% far-red LED lights was the best condition for growing O. stamineus with better medicinal properties than control groups.
