Systems Pharmacology of Lipid A Modifications Associated with Polymyxin Resistance in Gram-negative Bacteria

Antibiotic resistance is a significant global medical challenge. This thesis identifies complex bacterial responses to polymyxin treatment and enhances our understanding of the mechanisms of resistance. This study provides key mechanistic information for optimisation of polymyxin therapy in patients.
