Synthesis of coumarin functionalized photo-reversible polymers and their applications

This thesis demonstrates the abilities of photoreversible [2+2] cycloadditions of coumarin in creating sustainable photoresponsive polymeric materials such as polymer microspheres, polymer composites, adhesives, and polyurethane coatings. These findings significantly contribute to developing eco-friendly photoresponsive polymeric materials and offer promising alternatives to traditional polymeric materials with negative environmental impacts
