Successful zebrafish spinal cord regeneration is orchestrated by temporally distinct cellular mechanisms

This thesis examined the real-time successful regeneration of larval zebrafish, at the level of both tissue architecture and functional recovery. It identified that two distinct, but complementary, phases of regeneration occur in response to injury and established that these responses are triggered, in part, by the release of double stranded RNA.
