Structure and Function Studies on the Inhibition of α2-antiplasmin by a Specific Single Chain Antibody

thesis
posted on 2025-04-14, 05:06 authored by Nian Xie
This thesis combines biological and structural studies for the first time to gain insight into how understanding scFv A207 inhibits A2AP and promotes fibrinolysis. The results highlight the unique inhibitory properties of the antibody A207, positioning it as a potential therapeutic for promoting fibrinolysis in thrombotic conditions and a potential tool for A2AP detection. Furthermore, the stabilization property of the rA2AP_C6 mutant suggests its potential to serve as a model for enhancing protein stability.
