Strain-Rate-Dependent Effects of Nanomaterials on the Microstructure of Cementitious Composites and the Implications for Mechanical Performance, Failure, and Fragmentation

thesis
posted on 2023-11-29, 22:58 authored by NAVID TOURANI
This thesis examines the interplay between the microstructural influences of nanomaterials and loading rates on the engineering performance of cement composites. It identifies the key characteristics of nanomaterial that could be leveraged to enhance these composites across different loading rates and underscores the significance of dynamic investigations to fully understand the nano-modification effects.
