Metals are used in all modern products and technology essential in supporting our today's life style. Metals are primarily sourced from the Earth in ore deposits. As we transition to green energy, the demand for ‘critical minerals’ (copper, cobalt, lithium etc.) is increasing, this in turn requires the discovery of new ore deposits. Our ability to find new deposits relies on our understanding of natural geological processes. This research aims to advance our knowledge of these processes that are vital to producing critical mineral deposits.
