Small Molecule Inhibitors of AMA1/RON2 Interaction as New Antimalarial Agents

Resistance to the first-line anti-malarial drug and its combination therapy is challenging the global efforts to combat malaria. This thesis works on the design and development of new antimalarial drug targeting the human red blood cell invasion mechanism.
